I offer a non judgemental and confidential space where you can have the opportunity to explore your feelings, learn about yourself and work through whatever you feel you need to. Trust, transparency and honesty are essential in building a therapeutic relationship where you can use therapy as a space to truely be yourself and experience the support and help you deserve.
I currently only work with adults and offer individual one to one 50-minute sessions. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy
I have a sliding scale for my fees of £40 – £60 per session.

Covid – 19
Due to Covid-19 and with the health and safety of my clients as my priority, I have moved my practice to remote counselling only. I currently offer counselling via secure video conferencing over Skype or Zoom as well as telephone counselling. I hope to return to face to face counselling once it is safe to do so
Physical Disability & Illness
Navigating your way through life can be tough at the best of times but when experiencing life with a disability or illness it can become overwhelming for a variety of reasons. Feeling defeated, excluded, angry and anxious as well as suffering from low self esteem are all common emotions when learning to adjust to a new norm as a disabled individual or someone who has been diagnosed with a life changing illness. Grieving your old life and learning to accept the new can be challenging and I am here to support you through this process.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Having a safe space to explore these emotions and overwhelming feelings in therapy can support you to help rediscover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Grief, Loss & Bereavement
Most people will experience loss at some point in their life. Grief is the natural reaction to such loss and can involve feelings of anger, guilt, sadness and regret. There are many stages of grief and trying to navigate and understand such complex feelings can be overwhelming. I am able to provide a friendly and empathetic space for you to process these feelings.
Anger is a common emotion that often occurs when we feel under attack, insulted, frustrated or deceived but when this emotion becomes out of control, it often becomes destructive. Aggression is an instinctive way to express this uncontrollable anger which often leads to negative repercussions that have a devastating effect on work, family, general day to day living as well as our own self esteem. I am able to help you understand your triggers and discover the best coping mechanisms to help you manage your feelings as well as find healthier ways to express your frustration.
Stress is something we will all experience at some point in our lives but an overwhelming consistent level of stress can be detrimental to our physical and mental health. Stress usually starts as pressure that we often place on ourselves, to manage this pressure at home, work, in our relationships and other aspects of our life. Stress can manifest itself emotionally and physically and for some people, can lead to unhealthy coping methods such as drinking, smoking and drug taking. Understanding the root cause of your stress and your triggers while learning healthier and more positive ways to manage it can bring back the joy and peace you experienced before.
Trauma & PTSD
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Low Confidence & Low Self Esteem
Self-confidence is about how we trust our own judgement, feeling confident in our own abilities and how we present ourselves to the world which can in turn impact our potential and happiness in both our personal and professional lives. Low self-esteem is how we perceive and value ourselves which is often influenced by our childhood and life events. Viewing ourselves in a negative way can impact mental health and make everyday challenges seem impossible.
